Mother-Daughter Day at the Mystery Bookstore

One of my very favorite bookstores is The Poisoned Pen.  It is everything that a mystery bookstore should be!  In addition to having a HUGE selection of books, they also regularly host mystery authors' chats and booksignings.

A few weeks ago, my daughter and I met two of our favorite authors, Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter Carol Higgins Clark.  I've been saving this photo for a fun layout, and this week's challenge from the Paper Vineyard was just the ticket - today we are featuring the lovely papers and accoutrements of Anna Griffin.

Here is my layout:

I added a few goodies - lace and pearls just seem so *perfect* with the Anna Griffin papers!

Ingredients:
Cardstock:  Bazzill
Patterned paper, border tape, layered stickers, and alphabet stickers:  Anna Griffin
Ink: ColorBox Fluid Chalk in Chestnut Roan and Prussian Blue
Pearls: We R Memory Keepers and Kaiser Craft
Other: Decollections lace tape and ribbon netting from Paper Vineyard's ribbon cabinet

(The "frame" around the photograph was fashioned from the faux-wood border tape.)

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and have a terrific Tuesday!
