This sweet favor is in lieu of the traditional Easter basket for the older kids in our family:

Ink: Memento, ColorBox Fluid Chalk Cat's Eye, Copic Markers, and Sakura metallic gel pens in a variety of colors
Ribbon:  DeNami Design Confetti Ribbon Sampler
Other: Marvy 3" Scallop Circle punch and Kaiser Craft rhinestones
Glitter:  Stickles

Happy Birthday, DeNami Design!

To create my project, I just had to use their trademark Chickie.  He's so fluffy and cute, and he just HAS to be part of the action today!

I also used a few other goodies from DD to create this little birthday card.

Nuts About You!

Thank you so much for joining us for the DeNami Adorable Animals blog hop!

'Tis the season for love, romance, treats, and friendship!  This  little box and card are a sweet way to communicate all of those warm, fuzzy sentiments to somebody special:

First, I used one of the cute templates that DeNami offers to construct my box.  A couple of helpful hints:  1) I stamped and colored my design over the cardstock before assembling the box.  And 2) I used a scoring tool to make folding the box easier.

Next, I made the sweet little tag, which was inspired by a card created by DT member Emily Keaton's; you can read more about it - and tons more! - on her blog, My Little Slice of Bliss.  I loved how she used color to accentuate the heart shape of the acorn.  I used teensy staples and a dollop of yummy ribbon to fasten the card to my box.

You could put just about any little gift inside the box, but I'll be filling it with a quarter-cup of my Candied Pecans.

Other: Idea-Ology Tiny Attacher stapler, DeNami Holiday Sparklets glitter sampler, and Marvy 2 1/2" Scallop Square punch, DeNami rectangle box template, and Sakura Quickie Glue pen
